Witches Fingers - Halloween

The following recipe are witches fingers, a fun way to offer kids some tasty appetizers on the day of Halloween. Almonds are fundamental in the Mediterranean diet as their wealth of nutrients like calcium and fatty acids confer many properties as its great supply of fiber and magnesium.
Ingredients:
- 50 g. whole raw almonds
- 2 eggs
- ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
- a cup of butter
- ½ cup icing sugar
- 5 tablespoons sugar
- a pinch of salt
- 2 / 3 cup flour
Directions:
Separate the egg yolk reserving the clear. Beat by hand is next to another egg yolk and vanilla. In a bowl, combine butter, icing sugar, sugar, flour and salt.
Mix both prepared with the mixer. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and let cool for 30 min.
Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 180 degrees and prepare two plates with silicone paper or greased with vegetable oil.
Divide dough into 15 pieces and shape them finger.
Place on plates and place the almonds as nails. Bake until dough is lightly browned 10 to 12 min.
Allow to cool before serving.
Personal Suggestion: These fingers can be served together with a strawberry or chocolate milkshake.
