Hello Friends, this next recipe “Vanilla Ice cream” is a great homemade dessert. The vanilla has many beneficial properties to the body, beyond its culinary and aromatic qualities. To preserve its purity and not lose this aromatic qualities, vanilla should be kept in airtight glass containers and also stored in a cool, dry place. Enjoy this dessert recipe with your family.

Ingredients:
4 cups heavy cream
2 cups whole milk
4 egg yolks
1/2 cup granulated sugar
4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 cup whole milk
1 vanilla bean

Directions:

In a saucepan over medium heat, bring milk and vanilla bean just to a boil.

Take away from heat. Split the vanilla bean lengthwise and scrape the seeds into the saucepan, remove the shell.

In a medium bowl, whisk the yolks, sugar and salt until light yellow (5 minutes).

Gradually beat in the vanilla milk and pour the mixture back into the saucepan.

Cook the mixture over low heat, whisking constantly for 10 minutes, when the custard coats the back of a spatula, remove from heat and mix in the cream.

Freeze no less than 30 minutes, when the mixture has thoroughly cooled, freeze in an ice cream maker according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

 

Personal Suggestion: The vanilla ice cream is a very soft dessert, can be used in many ways, for example with chocolate sauce, strawberry sauce and accompanied with strawberries, bananas or peaches.
