Thick and Creamy Hot Chocolate – Venezuelan Food

Hello friends. what it’s more delicious than a good cup of hot chocolate when it’s cold or a rainy afternoon?. So the Venezuelans love the hot chocolate, and consuming especially in cold places, but we are not free to prepare in hot zones and therefore attracts adults and childrens. The following recipe taught to prepare simple and delicious, enjoy, share a cup of hot chocolate can be very memorable.



Ingredients:

1 tablet of 100 gr. chocolate cup
1 cup water
2 cups milk
2 tablespoons Maizina
Sugar to taste
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 pinch of salt

Directions:

In a saucepan, place the chocolate bar, water and cooking over medium heat for 15 minutes until very thick.

Add milk (prepared with milk powder), removed several times and then put a dot of salt.

Add two tablespoons Maizina previously dissolved in a little milk and stirring continues for 1 to 2 minutes.

When very thick, remove from heat and add one teaspoon vanilla and sugar to taste.

Serve immediately.

 

Personal Suggestion: This drink is ideal for a day in winter or a rainy day. I love chocolate served with a variety of breads and cheeses.  Enjoy this great beverage with family and friends.
