It is no coincidence that the weak Popeye need a can of spinach every time he wanted to defend the poor Olivia of Brutus harassment. In fact, the vegetable has this reputation is entirely deserved, though it must break some myths about their contribution exaggerated iron. However, their nutritional properties are many, as not only provide energy and strength, plus they are light and do not have a single gram of fat.

Ingredients:

Mass:

  • 1/2 cup cornmeal
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 1 tbsp Color
  • salt

Filling:

  • 1 pound fresh spinach
  • salt

Pepper:

  • 1/2 pound Soy meat
  • Olive oil

Directions:

Mix flour with water to create a homogeneous mass, color and then pour salt to taste.

For the filling, place the spinach in water bath for about 7 minutes. In a skillet place olive oil and soy meat cook until golden brown.

Now flatten the dough until it is thin and makes the form a dough, then take the spinach (pinching the water-absorbing) and soy meat and pour over the pans of dough, seal them.

Put oil in skillet. When this hot, let them fry until they are golden brown.

Personal Suggestion: This recipe could also be prepared without soy and meat could be replaced with ricotta cheese or mozzarella cheese.
