Hello friends, the following recipe comes from de beautiful country of Mexico. The mango was brought in the sixteenth century by the Spaniards to Mexico, from where it spreaded throughout the Caribbean and India to Brazil by the Portuguese. The Western world is associated with this fruit and began their distribution throughout the world with the opening of the Portuguese sea routes to the Far East. Ingredients:
800 g shrimp
2 tablespoons minced garlic
1 / 2 cup orange juice
2 tablespoons butter
1 / 2 cup white wine
2 tablespoons brandy
2 slices of mango
1 tablespoon olive oil
salt to taste
pepper to taste
Directions:
Sauté garlic in olive oil, add the shrimp in half open.
Add butter to skillet, pour the white wine and brandy, over medium heat and bring the handle.
Let stand over low heat and finally add orange juice, add salt and pepper to taste.
Personal Suggestion: This combination is unusual but I’m sure you’ll love the taste and texture. It may be accompanied by rice or sautéed vegetables.
