This Seafood lasagna is a wonderful dish to serve guests either at a lunch or for a dinner party. I have served this dish to my best friends, and they have all asked for the recipe always.

- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
- 9 sheets of pasta for lasagna, cooked and drained
- 1/2 pound medium shrimp, fresh or frozen, cleaned
- 2 cans of crab meat (crab), drained, crumbled
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 º F.
Melt butter in large saucepan over medium heat. Add flour, stir the mixture well with a whisk. Gradually add milk, mix well before adding more. Let loose the boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Reduce heat to low and cook the mixture for 3 to 5 minutes or until thickened, stirring constantly. Remove from heat.
Stir in Parmesan cheese, put the mixture aside. Combine spinach, cottage cheese, 2/3 cup mozzarella cheese and nutmeg. Sprinkle 1/4 of the Parmesan cheese sauce on the bottom of a baking dish 13×9 inches. Cover it with 3 lasagna noodles, then make a layer with half of shrimp, another with half the crab meat and one with half the spinach mixture. Cover with 1/4 of the Parmesan cheese sauce. Repeat layers, beginning pulp lasagna.
Finally, cover with remaining 3 sheets of lasagna, the remaining sauce and Parmesan cheese 1/3 of remaining cup of mozzarella cheese. Cover with foil.
Bake the lasagna for 25 minutes. Remove the paper, bake for 20 minutes or until the lasagna is completely hot and slightly golden on top.
Let stand 10 minutes before cutting into 12 pieces to serve.
Personal Suggestion: Serve with garlic bread, a green salad an of course a an exquisite white wine.
