Rioja’s Potatoes – Spain Food

Tapas are from Spain and in that Iberian country are one of the most popular customs. Tapas are small portions of Sausages, cheeses and other products, served in small plates, as if it was a tasting. One of the most common is the Spanish tortilla and the Galicia’n octopus, but the truth is that there are a lot of tapas dishes.



Ingredients:

1 kg de potatoes
½ chopped onion
2 garlic cloves
2 chili
Small bunch of parsley
250g red sausage
Sweet red paprika
Salt

Directions:

In a saucepan, put some oil add the onion (cut in very small pieces), the garlic and the chili and slightly fry all for about 5 minutes.

Add the red sausage cut into slices.

Peel the potatoes and cut them in cubes of 3 cm.

Add the potatoes into the saucepan and cover with water.

Then add some sweet red paprika, some parsley (finely chopped) and some salt to own taste.

Cook until potatoes are done.


Personal Suggestion: This recipe you can serve as an appetizer for a special dinner, these potatoes are a delicious flavor.  It is common to accompany tapas with wine or beer.
