Rice with Shrimp – Cuban Food

Friends, today we will prepare a delicious dish of Cuba, another way of presenting the rice, with its own color and flavor of paprika, shrimp and tomatoes. Simply spectacular.

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 kg Shrimp
  • 1 ¼ cups rice
  • 1 medium onion
  • 6 cloves garlic
  • 2 peppers
  • 3 Tomatoes Cooking
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 4 Tablespoons oil
  • ¼ teaspoon ground pepper
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 cup fish stock
  • ¼ cup dry wine
  • Salt to taste



Directions:

Peel the shrimp. Wash rice. Peel the garlic and onion and cut into julienne.

Remove seeds from peppers, tomatoes and chop.

Place the rice with the oil in suitable container and cook for 5 minutes, add garlic, onions, peppers and tomatoes and continue cooking until ingredients are well mixed.

Stir in tomato paste, pepper, bay leaf, stir around, add the shrimp and the boiling broth. Move the contents and cook over medium heat for 25 minutes.

Separate it from the heat, spray dry wine and let stand 5 minutes.

Serve immediately.

Personal Suggestion: This dish is brought to the table in his own vessel, which should preferably be made of clay. Garnish with peppers and peas or boiled and finely chopped parsley. To make rice with lobster or shrimp may proceed likewise.
