Hello friends. the next recipe is a delicious Colombian dessert, “Arroz con leche” is a very appetizing dessert for the whole family, it’s a typical dessert made by the mom’s; it also can be stored for some days in the fridge to serve after the lunch. This dessert has many variations, some people like to add a little grated coconut and condensed milk. Enjoy this great recipe with your family.
Ingredients:
100 gr. rice
100 gr. sugar
1 pinch ground cinnamon
1 cup cream or cream
6 cups milk
6 cinnamon sticks
50 gr. raisins
1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions:
Wash the rice until the water comes out clean.
Put the rice soak in milk about 1 hour before.
Boil the rice with milk and cinnamon sticks. It lowers the fire and removed continuously until it thickens. Remove the cinnamon.
In a separate bowl, add the cream, sugar and vanilla, remove and add to rice.
Stir to that of another boil.
Add raisins and served in a round.
Sprinkle cinnamon and let cool.
Personal Suggestion: Rice pudding is one of the favorite desserts for my family, it is very easy to do. This dish can be served warm or cold, but I personally like Serve chilled. You can place the individual mold for better presentation.
