Hello friends, the next recipe is a traditional recipe from Colombia, this rice is prepared when you are going to offer an elegant dinner and usually to accompany meats. The orange is a fruit tree, whose origins lie in China and we get one of the most valued for its citrus therapeutic, orange. Ingredients:
1 tablespoon butter
2 cups rice
2 cups water
1 tablespoon oil
2 cups orange juice
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon sugar
cup raisins
1 tablespoon grated orange peel
Directions:
In the pot that will prepare the rice, heat the oil over medium heat and butter.
Add the rice and cook for two minutes, stirring continuously.
Add water, orange juice, salt and sugar.
Mix well and cook over high heat until it boils. Reduce heat to medium to see holes in the surface.
Add the raisins and grated orange. Stir well. Cover and continue cooking on low heat until rice opens.
