Potato Cake – Colombian Food

Potatoes are, as we all know, a very rich and perfect food to accompany thousands of dishes. Even not only accompany, but as the principal basis of the richest culinary feast. While the potato is a very good food, there are many people who claim that the potato is fattening and therefore eliminate it from your daily diet. The pope, if not mixed with another meal, not fattening, since, for every 100 grams of potato, we have only 70 calories.

Ingredients:
- 12 potatoes, peeled, cut in salt water
- 3 cdas.de cream of mushroom
- 2 cups milk
- 2 tbsp. cilantro, finely chopped
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup whipping cream
- 2 tbsp. chopped onion
- 2 boiled eggs
- salt to taste
Directions:
Dissolve the cream of mushrooms in two cups of milk and cream. Add cilantro. Keep the fire. Stir frequently until thickened and boiling. Remove from heat and add the eggs and potatoes. Mix well.
At the same time add butter in a medium pan. Lining the walls and bottom with waxed paper. Pour the potatoes. Bake preheated 375 ° for 1 hour. Strip in the tray to be used.
Garnish with chopped boiled eggs and onions. Serve hot or cold.
Personal Suggestion: This potato cake taste very smooth, is perfect to accompany meats in general. I like to prepare together with a delicious chicken with a mushroom sauce.
