Peanut Cake – Cuban Food

The peanut is a very versatile food can be consumed raw, roasted or fried and baked is one of the most widely used ingredients in many recipes sweets. How do you prefer, always has a high nutritional value. Contains high levels of “good” fats and antioxidant vitamin E as it has in many cases exceeds the fruits in their health benefits: It has as many antioxidants as strawberries or blueberries and more than apples and carrots.

Ingredients:
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup sugar
- Teaspoon baking soda
- 1 stick butter
- 1 large bar of fresh ground peanut
- Half cup of oil but roasted peanuts.
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 pinch salt
Directions:
In a bowl, make the meringue until stiff with egg whites, then add the sugar with the melted butter, baking soda, salt, go beating and gradually add the ground peanuts, mixing well.
Then add the 2 tablespoons oil, then pour in the flour as rain but instead of uniting to go beat the mixture.
When thoroughly homogeneous mixture poured into a pan of mud and oil, and place it on fire: low for 20 minutes, then make a syrup to fill the cake and dress it out, and sprinkle grains of roasted peanuts on top, is delicious.
