Hello friends. Risotto (variation riso, ‘rice’ in Italian) is a traditional Italian food made from rice. It is one of the most common ways of cooking rice in Italy. It is a food native to the northeast of the country, particularly in the east of Piedmont and Lombardy in the west due to the abundance of rice. It is one of the pillars of the cuisine of Turin and Milan.
Ingredients:
500 g. round grain rice
1 small onion chopped
80 g. butter
1, 5 l. broth
60 g. grated parmesan
Directions:
Brown the onion in a saucepan with 40 g. of butter.
Add the rice and after a few minutes begins to gradually add broth.
Stir constantly and add more broth if the above has been consumed.
When the rice is cooked, remove pan from heat and add the remaining butter cut into dice and parmesan.
Stir and serve.
