Mozzarella and tomato – Appetizer

Ingredients:
1/3 cup Pesto dressing
32 bite-size marinated mozzarella balls
32 cocktail toothpicks
65 Grape tomatoes, rinsed and dried
8 thin slices prosciutto, jam or Mushrooms (each cut into quarters)
32 fresh basil leaves

Directions:
Marinated Mozarella: Cut large fresh mozzarella balls into bite-size cubes. Marinate in olive oil, minced garlic, chopped basil, plain or flavored vinegar, and Italian seasoning for several hours before assembling the appetizers.
Thread each toothpick with: One tomato, 1/4 of a slice of jam or mushrooms into a small square, one mozzarella ball, one basil leaf (folded if it is large), and one more tomato.
Arrange appetizers on a serving platter. Drizzle with a pesto salad dressing.
Personal Suggestion: A great way to serve tomato mozzarella salad. Great presentation. Always a hit.
