The Mangú is a kind of mash made from green bananas. There Dominican Mangú to eat lunch and there are those who eat the dinner. But the classic is ingested at breakfast, served with eggs or sausage.

Ingredients:

  • 2 eggs.
  • 1 teaspoon oil.
  • 2 strips of bacon.
  • 3 sausages.
  • 1 green plantain.
  • Salt to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon butter.
  • 1 cup boiling water.
  • 1 teaspoon oil.

Directions:

Place the eggs in a bowl.

In a pan put the oil and pour the eggs.

Fry the eggs 2 minutes and flip it over to cook both sides.

Cooking bacon on the grill or oven 3 minutes.

Put the sausages in the oven 5 minutes.

Peel the bananas and boil in water until 25 minutes manageable.

Blend the banana and add the salt, butter, water and oil.

Serve the banana and put a little onion on top.

Accompany with eggs, sausage and bacon.


Personal Suggestion: Generally Mangú done with mashed green bananas, but some people like to do with ripe bananas and is just as rich but has a sweeter taste. The mangú traditionally accompanied with fried eggs, sausage or cheese. And you can not miss is the sauteed onions over Mangú.
