Hello Friends, this next recipe “Greek salad” is refreshing and delicious. This Salad is a very common component of a traditional Greek meal, it is one of the most popular salads, especially during the summer months. Enjoy this great healthy salad with your family.

Ingredients:
5 medium tomatoes
4 small cucumbers
2 large red onions
2 medium green capsicums
2⁄3 cup black olives
4 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
salt and freshly ground black pepper
300g feta cheese
2 teaspoons fresh oregano leaves
2 teaspoons fresh basil leaves

Directions:

Cut tomatoes into wedges.

Cut cucumbers into thick slices.

Slice onions, not too thinly.

Cut capsicums into strips.

Place all the vegetables in a bowl and top with olives.

for the vinaigrette, mix 3 tablespoons of oil and all the vinegar until combined; add salt and pepper to taste.

Drizzle over salad.

Cut feta cheese into thick cube, add to the salad.

Sprinkle oregano and  basil on top and drizzle with remaining 1 tablespoon oil.

 

Personal Suggestion: The Greek salad is a halthy and delicious salad recipe, if you want you can also include lettuce, vine leaves and anchovies. You can serve this salad with a baked fish.
