Garlic Salmon with Asparagus - Mother’s Day

Hello Friends, in the next recipe we are going to use a delicious fish, Salmon is a fatty fish or blue fish, its fat is rich in omega-3, which contribute to lower levels of cholesterol and triglycerides. Is recommended the consumption of salmon to the general population, is an excellent source of protein of high biological value, as well as other fish like tuna, sardines or mackerel.
Ingredients:
3 teaspoons olive oil
4 cloves garlic, chopped
1/4 teaspoon lemon thyme, stemmed and chopped
1 lemon, juiced, rind grated
1 pound skinless salmon fillet
1 bunch asparagus, cut in 2 pieces
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Directions:
In a frying pan, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add garlic, lemon rind, lemon thyme and cook for 2 minutes.
Add salmon, cover pan, cook 2 minutes on each side.
Add asparagus on both sides of fish, sprinkle all with salt and pepper, cover pan, reduce heat to medium, cook for another 4-6 minutes.
Drizzle all with lemon juice; serve salmon topped with asparagus, garnished with parsley.
Serve immediately.
Personal Suggestion: This salmon recipe is very easy to prepare, it is better to use fresh salmon, i like to serve this plate on a bed of cooked onions and mash potatoes. Enjoy this great dish with your Mom.
