Hello friends, the following recipe is a delicios cups of bread with eggs and bacon. The bacon is the meat product which comprises the skin and the layers that are under the skin of the pig. In Europe it is considered a breakfast food, and consumed with eggs. It is also a common ingredient used in traditional recipes such as pizza, spaghetti or baked rice among others.  

Ingredients:

4 slices of bread
4 slices of bacon
4 eggs
1/2 cup Mozzarella cheese
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

 

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Grease a muffin pan with butter.

Using a cookie cutter, cut circles out of bread slices about 3 inches in diameter.

Take bread circles and press them into the muffin pan.

Heat a saucepan on medium-high. Cook bacon on the skillet for 3 minutes.

Shape bacon strips into the toast cups, fill with 2 Tbs of cheese.

Place in the oven for 5 minutes, allowing the bacon to toast just a little more. Remove from oven.

Crack the eggs and put into the cups, sprinkle with salt & pepper to taste.

Place back in the oven and cook until the yolks looks creamy. (8–9 minutes).

Remove from oven when done and pop out using a spoon.

serve immediately.

 

Personal Suggestion: This recipe is ideal for a special breakfast weekend. I like to serve a portion of fruit, this delicious bacon and egg molds and a glass of natural orange juice. Enjoy this great recipe with family and friends.
