Cream of Pumpkin and Apple - Halloween

The following preparation is ideal for a delicious cream we use the empty pumpkin for a pumpkin lantern for Halloween. This cream can be served with bits of ham (or bacon) or grated cheese crisp.
Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 onions
- 500g pumpkin
- 2 type golden apples
- 570ml vegetable stock (water and bar of vegetables)
- 300ml cider (version for boys)
- Sage
- Salt and pepper
Directions:
Heat oil in a pot. Peel, wash and chop the garlic and onion and toss in the pot. Stir fry for 2 minutes.
Chop the pumpkin, peel and chop the apples and wash and chop two sprigs of sage (if using sage pot, use 3/4 teaspoon). Pour all the pan and continue stirring for 2 minutes over medium heat.
Add broth and cider or apple juice and when it starts to boil, add salt and pepper, reduce heat, cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes over low heat.
Going through the blender and serve.
Personal Suggestion: Serve with garlic bread and a green salad.
