Cook Time: 10 minutes
Level: Easy
Serving: 1 bottle

If you are the people you like sweet cocktails the following recipe is perfect for you.  “Coquito” is a typical Christmas liquor in Puerto Rico. Its basic ingredients are coconut cream, white rum, evaporated milk, condensed milk, cinnamon and vanilla. Although it is possible to find recipes with other ingredients such as brandy and eggs (with these two ingredients is also known as punch).

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup white rum
  • 6 egg yolks
  • 2 cans evaporated milk
  • 1 can condensed milk
  • 1 can coconut milk

Directions:

Beat the egg yolks and mix with a little rum.

Put the mixture in a blender and add the remaining rum.

Add condensed milk, evaporated milk and coconut milk.

Blend again, put in a bottle and let cool.

Shake well before serving.

Personal Suggestion: Serve very cold. As a liquor may be taken only after the dessert, or during snacks, appetizers or  parties.
