Cold Tuna Cannelloni - Italian Food

The most important book on Italian pasta was written by Gustavo Traglia, entitled “Il Lunario asciutto della pasta”. He Wrote about the cannelloni: “It’s certainly one of the first and oldest known pastas. Could not know who invented the cannelloni; is a mystery as the invention of pasta. But we think that this is an popular idea, product of the genius that has managed simultaneously in Sicily, in Naples, Tuscany and Liguria. Formerly the pasta is manufactured at home and filling. Today, the paste can be purchased from any retailer and sold it for stuffing fact industrially”.
Ingredients:
- 2 packages of pasta
- 3 cans of tuna
- 1 can of olives stuffed
- 1 can of red peppers
- 3 hard boiled eggs
- 1/2 jar of tomato (fried)
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons milk
Directions:
Cook the cannelloni (according to package instructions).
Mix all ingredients until it forms a dough, leaving a few olives, 1 egg and pepper strips for garnish.
Once the cannelloni, filled and placed in a bowl.
Lowering mayonnaise with milk beating well and pour over the top.
Put in the fridge until serving.
Personal Suggestion:This dish is fresh, very appropriate for a summer day. Serve this meal with garlic bread and a delicious salad
