Title: Coconut Biscuit
Cook Time: 50 Minutes
Level: Easy
Serving: 8

I love the sweet recipes and this biscuit is one of my favorites. Coconut is a fruit that inmediately makes me remember the beach, sea and beautiful evenings. That’s why this fruit is originated from the tropical regions of India and the Pacific. If you want to select an excellent coconut for your recipes, remember it should emit a smooth aroma and besides that, when you shake it, you should feel the typical sound of water. Coconut contains a great proportion of water, protein, calorie, fiber, postassium and vitamin C and E. Also, it is a good friend for hairs especially when you are going to expose to sun during a long vacation. For protecting your hair, you need 25 Gram of coconut oil with 5 tablespoons of sesame oil. You heat them on a low fire until all ingredients are mixed. After that, you take away on fire and add 2 tablespoons of wheat germ oil, please apply on your dry hair. Now, it is time for enjoying this sweet recipe.

Ingredients:
500 Gram of Sugar
50 Gram of Butter
2 Cups of Flour
1 and 1/2 Tbsp of Yeast
3 Egg Whites
2/3 Cup of Milik
1 Teaspoonful of Grating Lemon Peel
1/2 Cup of Grating Coconut

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 392 degrees Fahnrenheit. Then, on a bowl mix the sugar and butter until they make a paste. After, add the gratting lemon peel and milk. Once this part is done, beat well with hands or mixer until blended. Incorporate the flour and yeast, and continue beating.

In another bowl beat the egg whites until stiff. When you get it, add to the other mixture the grating coconut but please, don’t beat, only mix well with your hands until or ingredients are blended.

On a round, buttered and floured mold, pour out all ingredients and take them to the oven. Let the mixture remains in oven during 45 minutes to 347 degrees Fahnrenheit.

It is quite important don’t open the oven during the first half hour in order to the biscuit becomes spongy. If you realize that it is very gilded on top, please cover it with aluminum foil, but only after the first half hour.

Personal Suggestion: How it is a really sweet recipe, I advice you to enjoy it with a cold glass of milk or simply water. For its levels of sugar and saturated fat, it is perfect for your kids or for a cold day, this biscuit keeps you with more energy.
