Chocolate chips are small chunks of chocolate. They are often sold in a round, flat-bottomed teardrop shape. They are available in numerous sizes, from miniature to large. Chocolate chips can be used in cookies, pancakes, waffles, cakes, pudding, muffins and various types of pastry. Kids loves chocolate and the next recipe is perfect for them.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs
- 1-1/2 cups milk
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup miniature chocolate chips
- maple sirup
Directions:
In a medium bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
in another bowl, combine eggs, milk and oil.
Add to dry ingredients and mix well.
Stir in chocolate chips.
Pour the batter by 1/4 cupfuls onto a lightly greased hot griddle.
Turn when bubbles form on top; cook until second side is golden brown.
Keep warm. Serve immediately.
Personal suggestion: This is a great breakfast for special days, serve with strawberries and a glass of orange juice.
