This Seafood lasagna is a wonderful dish to serve guests either at a lunch or for a dinner party. I have served this dish to my best friends, and they have all asked for the recipe always.

Ingredients:

  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 paquetede washed chopped spinach, drained
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 9 sheets of pasta for lasagna, cooked and drained
  • 1/2 pound medium shrimp, fresh or frozen, cleaned
  • 2 cans of crab meat (crab), drained, crumbled

Salmon with Vodka Cream Sauce – Seafood

Title: Salmon with Vodka Cream Sauce

This dish is so simple yet so tasty. Salmon is the king of fish and one of the most prized for their quality, luxury and special where you look at it, salmon is versatile to eat: grilled or smoked, its flavor is incomparable.

 

Ingredients:

  • 8 tablespoons butter
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 6 Salmon fliets
  • salt and freshly ground pepper
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 1/2 cups whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup vodka
  • 2 tablespoons peppercorns in water, drained and crushed
  • 3 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 1/4 cup snipped fresh chives

 

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350F.

Mix 4 tablespoons butter and onion in large Dutch oven.

Cover and bake until onion is golden brown, stirring occasionally, about 15 minutes.

Season salmon with salt and pepper.

Heat oil in a large skillet over high heat.

Add salmon and cook about 4 minutes per side for medium.

Transfer to platter. Tent with foil to keep warm. Pour off excess oil from skillet.

Add cream and vodka and boil until slightly thickened, about 4 minutes.

Add peppercorns and remaining 4 tablespoons butter and stir until butter is just melted. Whisk in lime juice, season with salt and pepper.

Top each with salmon fillet. Spoon sauce over. Sprinkle with snipped fresh chives.

Personal Suggestion: Serve with vegetables, for example cooked spinach, white rice or garlic pasta.
