The jalapeno pepper or jalapeno peppers, is known by this name because its traditional center of production, the Mexican city of Xalapa, Veracruz. This chili is a spicy varieties most widely grown and consumed in America.The jalapeno is fleshy, elongated, reaching 7 cm. long and about 3 wide at the base. It is used both before and after maturation.
