For this celebration can be more delicious than “Caramel Covered Apples” make a wonderful Halloween treat for your kids and they are very easy to make. This is a temptation for children who also loves to parents as they will be healthy eating a piece of fruit, will surely be tested now in a fair, but if not, will not cost much to do at home.

Ingredients:

  • 40 Caramel cubes
  • 6 Red Apples
  • 1 Tablespoon of water
  • 6 Wooden sticks
  • 1 Wax paper

Directions:

Wash and dry the apples thoroughly.

Remove stems and Insert the wooden sticks into the stem hole until about half the stick is in the apple.

In a saucepan, over low heat, melt the caramels with the water, stirring constantly until smooth.

Dip the apples into the hot caramel sauce, coating the apple completely.

Place on greased wax paper.

Put the caramel covered apples in the refrigerator.

Before serving, remove them from the refrigerator and allow them to stand for about 10 minutes.

Personal Suggestion: You can serve the caramel covered apples on a large black or white platter and use extra caramels as a garnish.
