Cappuccino Ice Cream – Dessert

The Italian cappuccino is a drink prepared with espresso, milk, chocolate and cinnamon. You can optionally also contain cream. In this case we will prepare a homemade ice cream flavored cappuccino. Delicious as a dessert for a dinner.



Ingredients:

  • 300 ml. double cream
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 175 g. sugar
  • 2 tablespoons instant coffee
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 300 ml. whipped cream

Directions:

Heat the cream until boiling. Beat egg yolks with sugar until thickened, add coffee, cocoa and cinnamon and mix.

Pour a little hot cream, stirring vigorously.

Dump after the mixture over the cream and leave the fire without coming to a boil, until custard thickens and forms.

Cool and add whipped cream. Place in a refrigerator for 20-25 minutes.

Personal Suggestion: Serve this rich ice cream into round saucers and place it on top of grated chocolate pieces.
