Hello friends. It’s amazing how a piece of bread could be transformed into something delicious in a way so simple. This recipe is not about one type of bread but a way of eating, very popular especially in Valencia, Catalonia and the Balearic Islands (Spain). There is known as pa amb tomàquet, tomato or pà amb pà amb Tomac, which means “bread with tomato.” may accompany with sausages, bread making that is more juicy.
Ingredients:
1 Toasted French bread slices a thick finger
4 tsp Extra virgin olive oil
1 tbsp Sea salt
2 cloves garlic, peeled
4 Ripe tomatoes
Over the slice of ham slices (ham, sausage, cheese, egg)
Directions:
Make a little toast the bread slices in a toaster or oven.
Peel and cut a clove of garlic in half and rubbed it a bit of toast.
Cut one tomato by a half and scrub all in one side of bread
Spreading of a thin trickle of olive oil all over the toast and add, optionally a pinch of salt.
Personal Suggestion: You must only a seasoned one face or side of the bread. Not prepare well in advance (not more than thirty minutes), but the bread is soft. Ideally, hot toast and serve each diner who prepares himself to his taste (with or without garlic, more or less oil, with or without salt).
