Blueberry Pancakes – kid’s

Hello friends, Blueberries are flowering plants in the genus Vaccinium, they have a sweet taste when it ripens with variable acidity, this is a typical bear fruit from May through June in the Western Hemisphere; blueberry season peaks in July, which is National Blueberry Month in Germany and the United States. Blueberries are sold fresh or processed as individual quick frozen fruit, purée, juice, or dried or infused berries which in turn may be used in a variety of consumer goods such as muffins, jellies, jams, pies, snack foods and cereals.



Ingredients:

3/4 c. flour
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. butter
1 egg
3/4 c. milk
1/2 c. blueberries, washed and drained
extra butter for the pan

Directions:

In a medium bowl, sift together the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.  Set  aside.

Melt the butter in a small saucepan.

Crack the egg into a medium bowl, then add the milk and melted butter.

Whisk until everything is well mixed.

Add the flour mixture to the egg mixture. Whisk again until both mixtures are blended together.

Put extra butter in the saucepan and heat it on the stovetop on medium heat. It is hot enough when the butter starts to bubble.

Use a small ladle to spoon the batter into the pan. Put some blueberries on top of each pancake.

Cook your pancakes on medium heat until small bubbles appear on the top.

Use a spatula to see when your pancakes are light brown on the bottom. When they are, flip them over with the spatula.

Cook for another few minutes until the pancakes are light brown on the other side.

Remove your pancakes and put them on plates.

Personal Suggestion: Ïf you want something delicious and fun for your kids, this is a very tasty recipe for a breaksfast.  Accompany this pancakes with maple syrup and orange juice.  Enjoy this great recipe with family and friends.
