Title: Blackberry Sauce - St. Patrick’s Day
Cook time: 10 minutes
Level: Easy
Serving: 2 cups

Ingredients:
2 cups fresh blackberries
1/4 cup sugar
1 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 1/2 tablespoons water

Directions:

Put the blackberries in a food processor or blender and process for 15 seconds.

Pass through a mesh sieve to remove the seeds.

Transfer to a small saucepan and cook over medium-low heat for 3 minutes.

Add the sugar and cook for 5 minutes, or until the sugar dissolves completely.

In a small bowl, beat together the cornstarch and water.

Stir it into the blackberry mixture and cook for 2 minutes, or until thickened. Serve immediately.

Personal Suggestion: This is a perfect sauce for a holiday recipe, it works well with salmon, beef, chicken or pork. Enjoy this great complement for your St. Patrick’s celebration.
