Beef with Green Banana - Cuban Food

The cuisine of Cuba is a fusion of Spanish cuisine, African and Caribbean countries. In the next recipe we will prepare a typical Cuban dish with two delicious ingredients such as meat and banana.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 pound of beef
- ½ cup butter
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon cumin
- 1/8 teaspoon oregano
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 large onion
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 1 large pepper
- 2 sprigs of parsley
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 1 cup dry wine
- 3 bananas half-ripe
- 1 lemon
Directions:
Cut meat into pieces about 5 or 6 inches, sauté in hot butter and when browned, add salt, paprika, pepper, cumin, oregano and bay leaf, then onion and garlic.
When the onions cook a little, add the red pepper with parsley; let it cook a few minutes and add tomatoes, wine vinegar and dry.
Cook covered over low heat about 1 ½ hours or until meat is tender.
Peel the bananas, chop 5 or 6 inches, spread them with lemon juice and add it to meat, cook ½ hour.
Personal Suggestion: Serve with white rice and a tomato salad.
