Beef Stew – Meat

This beef stew is a popular dish, especially in Latin America. Some people apart from the carrots will also add peas. They can also try other meats besides beef or cow. With pressure cooker is made very quickly.

Ingredients:



  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 cup onion
  • 1 cup thinly sliced carrot
  • 1 cup finely chopped potatoes
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup baked beans
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Directions:

Brown the meat in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat, drain. Add vegetables, cook 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Add water and stir. Bring to boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat to medium low, cover with lid and simmer for 10 minutes or until vegetables are tender.

Add beans and barbecue sauce, stir.  Kitchen Set 3 minutes or until heated through. Sprinkle with cheese.

Personal Suggestion: To give it a spicy flavor, incorporating hot sauce or ground red pepper to taste before sprinkling the cheese.
