Tittle: Beef and Macaroni Casserole

Ingredients:
1 cup Macaroni Uncooked
1/2 pound Lean Ground Beef
3/8 cup,Onion Chopped
1/8 cup Green Pepper Chopped
1/2 large Garlic Clove Minced
6 ounces Unsalted Tomato Paste
1 cup Water
1/8 teaspoon Salt
1/4 teaspoon oregano
1/16 teaspoon Thyme
1/2 teaspoon Basil
1/4 teaspoon sugar
1/8 teaspoon Pepper
1 cup mozzarella or Cottage Cheese

Directions:

First, cook macaroni as directed on package. Drain and set apart. Place ground beef, onion, green pepper and garlic in medium skillet.

Cook until meat browns and vegetables are tender. Add remaining ingredients except for cheese.

Cover and simmer gently for 5 minutes. Place a thin layer of meat sauce in bottom of a 2 quart casserole.

Top with half of the macaroni, spread the cheese over this layer, put half of remaining meat sauce over this. Then put rest of macaroni on top and finish off with rest of meat sauce. Bake in 350 degree oven for 45 minutes.

Personal Suggestion: Easy homestyle meal that kids and teenagers absolutely love. This recipe works very well with garlic bread.
