Banana Sour Cream Waffles – Mother’s Day

Hello Friends, the following recipe is a delicious waffles flavored with sour cream and bananas. Sour cream is a dairy product rich in fats obtained by fermenting a regular cream by certain kinds of lactic acid bacteria, it is Used first in the cuisines of Europe and North America, sour cream is often used as a condiment. It is a traditional topping for baked potatoes, as the base for some creamy salad dressings and can also be used in baking. Enjoy this great waffles with your family.



Ingredients:
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 egg, separated ()
1 cup sour cream
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup butter, melted
1 banana, mashed

Directions:

Heat waffle iron.

Beat egg white until stiff.

In a medium mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt.

In separate bowl beat together egg yolk, sour cream, milk, butter and banana.

Add liquid mixture to dry ingredients, stirring just until blended.

Fold in beaten egg white.

Pour batter from cup or in to center of hot waffle iron.

Bake about 5 minutes or until steaming stops.

Remove waffle carefully.
