Hello Friends, this next recipe “Banana and Strawberry Smoothie” is a refreshing and delicious drink. The smoothie concept born in California in 1960 as an alternative for an energy and vitamin drinks versus artificial or soft drinks.  Enjoy this great shake with your family.



 

Ingredients:
2 large bananas, thickly sliced
250g strawberries
250g plain low-fat yogurt
1 tbsp honey
250ml orange juice
sprigs of fresh mint to garnish

Directions:

Put the bananas, strawberries, yogurt and honey into a blender and combine to a smooth crush.

If you want a colder smoothie, add a few ice cubes to the mix.

Add the orange juice and blend briefly until mixed.

Pour the smoothie into tall glasses and serve immediately.
