Hello friends, The next recipe is a delicious Apple tart. The apple fruit is considered more complete, because of its multiple benefits, like vitamins and minerals. It also acts as a slimming, diuretic and helps prevent consummation daily disease. Enjoy this great dessert recipe with your family.

 

Ingredients:

Crust:
175g plain flour, sifted
1/3 cup sugar
175g unsalted butter, cold
¾ tsp salt
4 tbsp cold water
a squeeze of lemon

Filling:
6 tart sweet apples
1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. butter
1/3 c. apple jelly

Direction:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Crust:

In your food processor place the flour and sugar, blend together.

Add butter and pulse until dough just begins to come together.

Pat the dough onto the bottom and one inch (2.5 cm) up the sides of the pan.

Cover with plastic wrap and place in refrigerator while you make the filling.

 

Filling:

Peel apples and cut into quarters. Cut away and discard cores,cut the edges and reserve ends of the quarters.

Chop these pieces so that there are about 1/2 cup.

Cut quarters lengthwise into slices.

spread the chopped apple ends over the pie shell.

Arrange the apple slices in circles starting at the outer layer and working to the center.

Sprinkle apples with the sugar and dot with butter.

Place pie in oven and bake for 15 minutes.

Reduce heat to 375 degrees and bake for 25 minutes.

Heat apple jelly over low heat, stirring until melted.

Brush jelly over top of tart.

Serve warm or cold.

 

Personal Suggestion: This dessert is expectacular, I like to eat warm and accompanied with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce.
